During the process of replacing an EGR on my truck, I decided to replace all the parts in the chain so they weren't worn out. About 25 miles after making the purchase, the check engine light came on and threw a P1401 code. It has been working fine for 200 miles since I put back the old module. I am trying to return this defective product, and they want to charge me 2/3 of the cost of shipping to return it (even though the form says no charge) UPS will not take it until I pay them an additional $11. Buying a 17 for 99 cents is reasonable. It has been 19 days since I placed my order for the 99 part. I can't find anyone at the company and Amazon is unable to pick up phone calls. Why this part was purchased for so cheap at Lowe's and Autozone is asking for 79 seems to have a reason. You will need to pay $00 I am not interested in buying this part. It was a very disappointing experience dealing with Amazon and them.

My 2001 Ford Expedition had a P0401 error code, so I installed this product to correct it. I saw the check engine light again about 100 miles after the last one. Code is the same as before but with the P1400 option. Putting too low a voltage on the DPFE. Taking it to the repair shop, the technician found that the unit was faulty. It was shorting out, causing it to display the new error code. It was recommended that I replace with a Motorcraft brand. Return window is closed, so I am stuck with a defective.
