A knock sensor was absolutely decrepit on my 240sx, KA24DE, and I bought this to replace it. A sudden overheating issue occurred due to timing getting way out of whack, which is why the car overheated. As I was under the intake anyway dealing with my overheating issue, I replaced this in the hope that this timing advance could be the result of the knock sensor not reading it. However, I have been running the sensor for about 300 miles now, and have never seen the timing advance above a safe level. I believe the issue may have been with the sensor. While I might be reticent about using the sensor on a turbocharged engine since you have to be careful not to knock it, you can use this sensor with confidence on a non-turbo engine. It certainly works well.
It worked wonderfully and did not cause me any problems!.
It's an older car and I don't want to fix it I saved over $90 just by buying this part online! I am so happy I looked into buying parts online. Everything seems to be working fine!.
This is an easy to install product. I was taken care of.
It works great and is awesome.
When you don't read further, it says it fits the 01 maxima, but if you don't read it, it also says it fits the 3+. The number 0. In 2001, the 3-year plan came to an end. Since I received an incorrect part, this is why I received an 0l.
