Detonation vibrations create a voltage signal that the sensor uses to generate a voltage. Spark knock is detected by this signal and timing is retarded based on this information.
Under the intake should be those. Knock sensor wires are loved by mice and are easy to break.
My 2005 Lexus Rx330 3 was a perfect fit for the product. The main differences between v3 and v6 are as follows. It is the same engine as the one in the highlander and camry of the same year.

On my 2007 Camry 2, I had it installed. On Sept. 19, 2018, 4L will be held. The item fit perfectly and made it all the way to Sept 9, 2019. There is still a code for knock sensor P0328 when the check engine light comes back on. In the end, I had to go to my mechanic twice for this item and it cost more than I would have expected to pay to get the OEM part from a Toyota dealer. We ripped it out and replaced it with OEM and the car is working normally again. Due to the cheap price and the fact that it worked for a year, I gave it two stars. I guess there’s a reason why OEM models cost $170. In case you are handy and can fix these yourself, then this method is fine. In case you cannot handle it easily, go with If you want to get to the sensor behind the engine, you will need to remove the intake.
My Toyota Sienna 3 is now working without any issues after having the harness and coolant hose replaced. I highly recommend this wiring harness and coolant hose replace for An engine with 3 cylinders.
I had an engine problem, but a great working sensor fixed it. This supplier provides quality parts, and I highly recommend it.
It's true that Meineke offers installation of parts you bring in, but they will charge you much more if the part is.
The alternative was great for the price, especially considering how well it worked.
I like it.
