Questions & Answers

What is the fitment of this unit to my 98 GMC Yukon ?

The package was installed on my 98 GMC K2500 5 and it is functioning fine. You will need 7L. My confidence is that the Yukon will work if it has the same engine.

A set of this fits on a 94 Chevy S10. Would you mind picking up 2?

If your product does not fit within Amazon's offering, please use its "Does it Fit" link service. Upon installation on my Silverado 8 cyl 2010 I had no issues.

This will fit a 1996 GMC Yukon with a 5.8 liter engine. How many of them are four-wheel drives?

Daniel, I have no idea. The engine on my 1988 C3500 has a 7 cylinder. This bottle holds four liters. Hope everything works out for you

Don't do it unless it fits five. Do you know how much that is?

I installed it on my 89 Silverado 5 in no time. Seven L. Originally, this knock sensor was only installed on older models, and it has been replaced by a more sensitive one sometime during the mid- to late 90's. None of the LS engine series, even the 5 series, are supported by this unit. Seven-liter Long Sleeve.

(Check the connector wire on your 89 Silverado 350/TBI)
5/5

Is perfectly sized and works well. It is for this reason that I only I had the old one for 113,000 miles and it was still in good shape. There was a mistake in routing the wire, which was frayed, and was grounding out. I was able to fix it, thank goodness. There are knock sensors on Amazon, too, and they are substantially less expensive than knock sensors. Ensure that your O2 sensor is working as well if you have a high mileage.
