Questions & Answers

What standard motor products AX163 air charge temp sensor will this connector fit?

This sensor was purchased to pair with the AX163 air conditioning charge temp sensor and it did not When I went to a local auto air shop, their computer showed the same kind of plug and it still wouldn't work. It's now up to me to find one who will do it.

Can you tell me how long the wires on the connector are?

A little over 7" in length. The more would have been better, but I got it to work on my 06 truck with V6.

Don't let that cold hard start happen again
5/5

Replaces original OEM parts with a high-quality replacement. Once I cut off the old connector and soldered the new one on, the engine was up and running in no time.

Extension for CAI that is good
5/5

My new CAI plug was soldered in place, but the housing of the new harness was in a different size than the stock one, so I had to get rid of the rubber skirt on it and tape it off in order to enclose it. However, in the event that modifications are needed, it still works.

Is it hard to start the 1990 K1500 350TBI when it is If the connector/sensor appears to be corroded, check it. The truck has started without a hitch since the pigtail was replaced.

It does what it's supposed to
5/5

The ambient air temperature sensor on my 2003 Cadillac Seville sts is rather expensive for what it is, but it works. In reality, there are two black wires, not two white wires as depicted in the picture.

$555 in savings
5/5

An estimate of $550 for a new thermostat came from a local repair shop. It was suggested that I check YouTube for this part. It worked out perfectly. Repair shops are such a ripoff.

You save yourself lots of headaches by buying it right now -- it is only a few dollars
5/5

It has been a gamble, but I have changed the part and I might try it. It is a good thing that the working hours have changed. I just crimped and plugged it all in and it worked fine.

It's now fixed

My 2015 Sierra mirror no longer has an air ambient sensor, so I put this in.

It is compatible with a 1999 Chevrolet Astro, including the outside temperature sensor
3/5

The Chevy Astro temperature sensor did not fit this part since I bought it in hopes that it would fit. Considering the connectors seem to be standard, it probably would not fit anywhere else in my van either. Although I don't know how well it will work with the correct connections, it should work without any problems.
