Questions & Answers

Is there a place for it? Where is this sensor you can't remember? I thought I knew where all my sensors were and had replaced them all. ?

The engine has a significant impact. There is a 5 on my report card. This is an EFI for the 0L bronco and it is located on the lower intake manifold just under the vacuum tree. The intake air temp sensor is sometimes referred to as the intake air temperature sensor in Haynes/Chiltons handbooks. It is possible to find pictures on the web that will help you to get started.

What is the actual item made of, brass or platic as it appears in the picture?

Plastic was the one that they shipped me. Having to deal with that was disappointing for me. Due to the brass shown in the picture.

The Ford Ranger 2 from 1993. A 3-4 cylinder is equipped with an air charge temperature sensor. Where can the sensor be found?

This sensor is located on the intake manifold behind the alternator and close to the coil pack.

The build quality is excellent, and the original feel is the same
5/5

The car had a problem with high idle and bad fuel mileage, and on startup whether it was cold or warm, the engine would have a rough idle. Then, it would smooth itself out in 10 minutes. The two issues were resolved by this action. I thank you for your kind words".

According to other reviews, I was a little hesitant to order one made out of brass, but I was pleased when I actually received one
5/5

I'm unable to find the metal version of this at any of my local parts stores. Upon reviewing other reviews, I was initially skeptical however, I was glad to find out that the brass one I received was made just like the stock one.

I am pleased with the value I received
5/5

Everything seems to be okay with the installation. My check engine light hasn't been turned off after I installed this part, so I will have to investigate the reason. Having learned where to avoid looking, I will no longer look in that direction.
