Check out the review. This was intended to be a replacement for the one that came with my Jetta. The old one didn't work at all when it came to reading temperatures. The new one reads, but it's nowhere near as accurate as the old one. I didn't want to point the finger at the product, so I gave it five stars. It could very well be a problem with my car, as I still haven't figured out what's wrong with my air conditioning. I was told that if the sensor didn't read the temperature or if the temperature was too low, it would have an impact.

My air conditioner is now working properly. It really works. In the 2007 Jettas, you must drive a few hundred miles to allow it to calibrate. However, this is a Jetta issue.
