My original sensor was reporting a temperature that was significantly lower than the actual temperature. When the temperature outside was 60 degrees, I was 12 years old. The original was corroded and I couldn't unplug it. As a result, I broke the original connector. I replaced the old sensor with this one, and the temperature is now exactly right.
I'm content with myself. It works. Check the temperature with a thermometer to make sure it's correct.
It was the outside temperature that I was missing in my Tundra, and it works perfectly now.
