There is nothing I can say. I did find that it fit perfectly on my 2003 BMW E39
To do this, you usually need a crimper. Learn about Molex connectors by watching videos The information will be helpful.
It is available on Amazon
Despite the fact that mine had the cable assembled with the wires and sockets already, I received all of what was shown in the picture. If you can, solder the wires to the factory harness. If you do not have waterproof compression connectors, take some extra care. The temperature reading can be thrown off by a couple degrees by twisting and taping, or even wire nutting. It has now been fixed by soldering, and the temperature is correct. I have worked for about 6 months now.

It is the type of person I am who would even change their own oil they would have to go to a mechanic, but they are usually closed by the time I get off work, and after all, you have to get your hands dirty occasionally. Having read the forums one last time, I went out armed with only a pair of wire cutters, my socket set that was required to disconnect the battery lead since I had no idea how much damage I would be looking at due to my inexperience. I also had About 10 minutes after that, I taped up the wires and repositioned the sensor so it was no longer in harm's way and connected the battery lead. At that point, I saw +96 on my display instead of -96 on my dashboard. First time in almost nine months that it is below 40 degrees and there is cold air. As hands-on as I have gotten since replacing my own headlights not too long ago, and this is enough for a while. I highly recommend a product that is packaged and includes all items as advertised, performs as advertised, and is easy to install even for the novice. I love it!.
case, the socket was still present, but it had been so badly damaged by the environment under my car that I insisted on replacing it. You can find the It didn't seem like the temperature display changed right away when the probe was replaced – The wait is still on! As I drove, it began to creep up slowly, one degree at a time. It reached the correct temperature after about 25 minutes. What's better not only did this fix the outside temp display, but it also restored the efficiency of the air conditioning on automatic!.
I have a 2003 BMW 330i equipped with this part. When it was connected under the front bumper on the driver's side, my dash immediately read the outside temperature as soon as it was connected. My original one was ripped off and I had to find the correct wires to connect. Once I did, it worked immediately.
The original one was ripped out when I hit some road debris on my 2002 BMW 530i, so I replaced it with this one. the kit includes the sensor, wires, and connector for a very good price, which is cheaper than an original BMW part. It is also accurate when it comes to the temperature sensor.
I am pleased with the results of this ambient air temperature sensor kit. 15 minutes was all that was required for the installation. I was able to learn all this from an excellent video on YouTube. Visit the following link The website is at www. I found it on YouTube. Do you want to watch? The installation was a breeze after I watched the video, made sure I had the supplies on hand, and completed the video. It cost $345 to do the same job at the BMW service center. I also had to replace the plastic piece behind my bumper, to which the previous sensor was mounted. In the video however, it is shown how it is attached to the backside of the bumper by way of zip ties. I would say that the product came complete with the wires attached to the plug, which took care of the first step in installation. My kit came on a Sunday just before the storm we were facing, and I have Amazon Prime. The timing is perfect.
The damage that I had was as a result of damaged wires in the device itself the extra wire was definitely useful. A thermometer outside started reading zero during the heat of the summer It climbed gradually to a low of 40 by the time I got to the office, and it reached a high of 32 by the time I arrived.
During the repair of my 2004 E46, I noticed that the air temperature sensor was damaged when it came off of the driver's front lower fender, and it began to scrape against the steering If you damage the sensor, you will experience two main effects Here are some important points to bear in mind 1. A temperature variation from - to + will be visible on your dashboard A temperature range of 40 to 50 degrees Celsius)*2. This is your indication As soon as it gets below 40 degrees, the air conditioning stops working because the car believes it doesn't need it since it's so cold outside.
In order to restore air conditioning, you have to plug and unplug the air conditioner. You'll find the sensor under the front fender of the driver's car. After the problem on 1 and 2 above is resolved, we will be able to fix the problems above. Generally speaking, it is a good product, but it may show some variations, but for $30 you can live with it.
Purchased this item from Amazon and installed it myself, thus saving me a significant amount of money. Even though I had to crawl under the fender weld and get a bit dirty, I probably saved at least a hundred dollars for just a few minutes' You are not doing too bad if you earn two or three hundred dollars an hour.
