For the NA Terminator X LS swap, installed in intake tone with rubber grommet. It really works.
It does the job, but it won't thread into my intake. Because I didn't have an adapter, I simply drilled a hole in my airbox duct near the throttlebody and threaded it through. I installed this in an 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ 2 and it's about as close to an OEM part as you can get. The electrical connection required the use of an adapter, which I did not have. It doesn't matter which way the thermistor is installed because it's a thermistor.
Thank you for your prompt delivery and excellent service. The engine code has been removed, and my 1995 Cadillac is now running more smoothly. No one had this part, so I had to wait 4 days from any other vendor. With this one, it only took 24 hours.
On my 1990 Oldsmobile, the OEM part was simple to install and works perfectly.
With speed density conversion, I used it on my Lancer Evo. It really works.
This was a gift for my son, so I'm assuming it's good because he's installed it and there have been no complaints.
There are a variety of applications for this. This is the one you use on an EVO to go to speed density on the stock ECU, in case anyone was wondering. It really works.
