Despite the title, the item perfectly fits the 2017 KIA Rio, but the item is titled "Trailer Lock Actuator Motor. ". Actuator motors are not installed inside - there is no motor inside. There is no indication whatsoever in description that actuator motor is not included, or even if it is, it is not installed inside the part itself. As such, it is given one star. If you are looking for a complete set that appears to say Truck Lock Actuator Motor, it is not recommended.
The part is listed as a motor for the trunk lock actuator, however it does not include the actuator. To fix the old unit, I had to use the part from the old one. Thanks to the fact that the damaged part was not the electrical one. Therefore, I only give it a low rating because of false information.
I found it easier to install than I had expected. The process took about ten minutes In 15 minutes you can have the system up and running. A manual release is involved, not a release that occurs automatically.
