It won't work as a fan plug, not able to handle heat well

Unless you are certain that the replacement is better, stay away from them. Since they are copper clad aluminum wire, they are not able to withstand the amperage and temperature that radiator fans need to withstand. Generally, OEM radiator fans use 12g wires, but this 16g wire is stronger. To find out the real cause of the failure, it took three relatively expensive JCase fuses. Problems were resolved after replacing the old OEM with a new one. Due to the large size of the connectors and inability to use heat shrink caps, you will have to use other methods to seal the connections. It's not a good idea to use electric tape.

At half the cost of the OEM, this replacement connector is a good replacement. For Equinox 05-100, I recommend it 100% Problems with the cooling fan on the 06.

I do not like the difference in the wire size. I think the wire is too small To prolong the life of the connectors, the wire was doubled up. It was the right size for the wire harness on the car to fit the connectors on the butt.
