Ours, however, were genuine Vitamix OEM parts. The part was stamped "Vitamix" on the part and came in the package with instructions. br>br>Vitamin really needs to re-invent themselves. Many people claim that this product is fake because it does not say "vita mix" on the package. All I can say is that we have a Vitamix that we purchased brand new 20 years ago and had no markings on it. Having said that, it did come in a Vitamix container. My only criticism is that the locking screw does not go in completely straight, making installation difficult. It worked perfectly once it was in.

When you put the new one on, the blender appears to be brand new. She is now able to make all of her sauces and other dishes without difficulty.
