I have a 2019 Ford Flex SE and it fits well. Because of this, oil changes become easier because you can connect a tube to the nipple and send the oil directly into the storage container rather than pouring the oil into a pan. Fumoto valves have been in my other car for over ten years without any issues.
This valve was on my 2013 Ford and I was very impressed with how easy it was to change the oil. I bought my next pickup a 2017 Ford. Yes, this was the one with the plastic oil pan, which I couldn't use this valve on. I am looking forward to the return of my metal oil pan with my 2019 F150. I can't wait. A couple of days after receiving the truck, I bought this valve. *While it isn't much of a hassle to unscrew a drain plug this valve makes the job much easier and cleaner by allowing you to connect a drain hose.
This does not work for a 2020 Ford Ranger, even though it is indicated on the manufacturer's Website. However, the valve cannot be threaded in because the valve hits the side wall of the recession as it is recessed in the pan. The diameter and thread pitch are correct, but the drain hole is recessed in the pan. This is the first time I have not had a Fumoto on my car. However, they hit the target on my last 4 cars.
The oil pan works well and is easy to empty. I have three of these and installed them easily. While it's good to begin the process, take out the plug wouldn't be the best solution.
