The TTO Temperature Gauge from Trail Tech includes multiple features, including an LCD display that's easy to read, and an ultra-thin design.

No matter how dark or how bright the lighting is, you will be able to view gauge readings on the LCD display

In order to prevent CVT belt failure, you can easily monitor your CVT Motor Belt Temperature on all UTV and ATV applications that implement a CVT type transmission. It guarantees that your CVT belt will not overheat, extending belt life and reducing downtime.

We have included our TTO temp gauge with a temperature probe, as well as the sensor extension for simple instalation

Does this one measure the air temperature in the housing or do we know it is an infrared sensor?

A temperature sensor will be placed inside the CVT cover to measure ambient air temperature. It is not possible to purchase an infrared sensor from Trail Tech.

What is the battery life of the battery?

In order to make these meters as waterproof and vibration proof as possible, they are completely enclosed in epoxy. However, this means that the battery cannot be replaced.

With the temperature probe and wiring, do you get the gauge as well?

Yes, it's easy to install and it's got plenty of cables

What are the steps necessary to hook up a sensor cable to a ?

Just seal the hole in the housing that you drill for the sensor, and then insert the sensor.

A Polaris RZR with two drive belts shredded is sent into the shop for repairs. The gauge has plenty of cable, but it would be nicer if the cable could be detachable and enters the rear of the gauge, so that it could be hidden with a pulley. The mount can be installed on the dashboard. This is a great product to be able to monitor the temperature while riding and the peak temperature feature lets you know when the highest temperature has been reached, even if you weren't looking at the gauge at the time. I have had no further belt problems since Other than the cable placement noted, the only other reason why I downgraded by one star is how small the button is and how difficult it may be to operate when.

This device runs on batteries and is not replaceable! Batteries are used to power this device! The manual doesn't mention whether it is battery powered or not

In order to get information about it, I called Trail Tech. one of the friendliest people I've encountered). According to my inquiry, the battery is not replaceable and it might last for A battery that can be replaced would be better for me. Perhaps it would be better if it could be turned on and off continuously to save battery. However, you cannot, and that said, if I had known it was battery operated, I would have searched for one that wasn't or at least one with a replaceable battery!.

All you have to do is remove your belt cover, drill a hole, install, and route your wires. It doesn't light up, so you'll need to use a flashlight or your phone to view at night (I just check it following or during high-light show.

the temperature at a constant level. You will be redirected to the home page (hopefully), but functions like time set and Celsius or degrees will cease working, so you'll have to make the best of it. We tried contacting company about our problem, but they were unable to help. You know the old saying about getting what you pay for, so the price is low.

Installation is simple and the product holds up well for a long time. My only wish is that it was a bit I have a hard time seeing at race pace when I am.
