How easy is it to hook this kit up? Does the kit include everything you need?

To fit the 1/8" sensor, you'll need an aftermarket transmission oil pan that has a 1/8 npt tap hole or a brass fitting tee. The first two sides should be 1/2" while the third side should be either 1/2" or 3/8". Following the front oil cooler, you place this in the transmission line before going back to the engine. You shouldn't put this tee fitting before the torque oil cooler because the temperature will be too high and the fitting will burn out.

It works fine, looks good, but make sure you mount it in a safe place

The mounting cup on this meter allowed me to mount it on a bus. In the beginning, this was mounted under the defroster duct and I noticed if it got too warm, it would stop working. The meter appeared to be warming because it was mounted to the duct. The heat would conduct through the mounting and In fact, I realized this after I failed to reach a reset when I restarted the bus after driving for a while. As a result of moving the meter, the issue is resolved.

This is a very good gauge for the automatic transmission

I am satisfied with the fitment of my Dodge 2500 '05. A good ground is absolutely necessary. Reseting my gauges was proving to be a bit difficult for me. As soon as I had the lights dimmed, all of my gauges reset and the dash lights went All is well with my grounds now that I have redid them. It would be best if you could either get a cooler line with the cooler line built to accept it, get a coupler and fill it with thermal compound or rig up a "T" somewhere along the line.

You should also. The item is listed as factory match for my 2004 Dodge Ram, but it does not match the factory with my Ram. I think it looks good and it is close to what I expect. In addition, if you intend to install into a wall, you will need to shave down the plastic mount Pod standing on a pillar.

A smooth and steady ride

The software has been installed for 2 weeks now and is working flawlessly. There is no movement of the pointer. This is a well-made product. Wires are hooked up to the dimming wire. I found this to be effective.
