I had no trouble fitting it in my 5500w UPS generator. Just a tiny amount of filing and it's good to go. I ran the wires behind the front panel from the hour meter to the 12v posts. Everything seems to be in order. The original hour meter quit after 50 hours or so. I tested it for a little over half an hour, and the count seems to be accurate. Once we've run this test a few times, we'll see how it stands up.

I like it, but did not get any instructions on how to install. While I figured it out, I would have preferred a simple diagram that could be applied to average (usually lawn mowers and small tractors) applications.

We had no trouble with it, and it worked well. Wires were almost identical to the original, and it fitted perfectly where the original went. The bad hour meter was swapped out in a matter of minutes. The only one I have is The new meter has only been on for 5 hours, but it appears to be working properly.
