It is arbitrary to grade students in this way. prefer to see tankage information in inches or centimeters, so that I can compare the stick with other aircraft owners who may not use the same stick as mine. In addition, each of these should come with an attached lanyard to prevent it from falling into the tank and to assist in retrieving it if this does happen.
The tube is made of plastic. There is no simpler way to put it. I attached a camera lanyard to it so it would not get caught in the fuel tank, and if it did, it would be easy to retrieve with a coat hanger. * I also made a card for each aircraft I use it with that shows what the levels represent.
My Archer is so low on fuel when the tabs are below the nozzles that I cannot determine the level of fuel in the tank, and I don't trust the fuel gauge at all! My peace of mind will be restored when I can tell how much fuel is in the tanks.
It's an error! I have discovered that the fuel gauge markings on the 11 inch gauge are not apologies, but be sure that you are aware of what I mean.
Using a fuel inspection device is invaluable if you want a quick check of the fuel level.
For years, these have been a staple in my life. It was convenient for me to make placards for my wings.
Calibration is a bit of a challenge, but I find it to be not too difficult. I like the fact that the gauge represents fuel more accurately than the sensor.
The advertised product was exactly what was advertised.
