An individual program can be made for you. None of the preprogrammed ones worked, so I had to create my own. The tank must be filled and then emptied during the programming procedure or you must pull the sender out and run it from full to empty without its cap on during the process
The best way to calibrate the sensor is to drop the tank and remove it from the tank

This is a good fuel gauge to have. The setup takes just a few minutes. It was on and running within five minutes of wiring it up. Apparently there is a reason why I had to reverse "Empty" and "Full". There was no sign of an empty tank when there was one. The situation has been resolved. It may have to do with the 4th generation sender being There are 240 ohms of empty resistance and 30 ohms of full resistance. The 3rd gen has an empty resistance of zero ohm and a full resistance of 90 ohm. You're backward. This gadget will fix it for you! If you need a good tachometer module to get your tach to work, try Dakota Digital.
With this piece of equipment I can convert the linear signal from my reproduction fuel gauge into the proper signal for my replica In addition, it works with other gauges and not just Auto Meter gauges since it is an original Ford fuel gauge. It's easy to set up since there are several pre-programmed settings to choose from.
The process of connecting the wires does take some time. Additionally, it would have been better if it had more mounting options. The body should be able to clip into a bracket, but it would be nice if there was a bracket as well.
This American muscle fuel gauge was easy to hook up and worked perfectly on my 1973 Nova.
