Although I don't know if it will fit, I know that it needs a hole in the panel larger than 52 mm and there must be 55 mm of clearance behind the panel.
However, I do not understand why the ohm between the sending unit and the gauge should affect how your coil works.
Wires are spliced together on the back of the gauge and a plug is on the back of the gauge

I find this to be very useful. The gauge I needed was for my UTV to use with a generic sending unit I modified. In this case, the specs and expectations were met. The installation process is easy There is no need to drill holes in the support ring, as you just screw it on. There is a choice of colors for the backlight Red is the color I chose. This backlighting is very useful at night and makes the gauge very easy to read. The old edge glow lighting won't leave a room in the dark. The pigtail must be plugged in In case of removal, it should be easy to remove. It is accurate The sending unit works perfectly with it. I am very pleased with this gauge. It seems to be a good product that I'll probably buy another one as a backup but hope it lasts long. The convenience of not having to look underneath the seat for the fuel level is well appreciated by everyone.
There could have been a little more space around the outer lip. Despite barely covering the hole, the meter was still visible. As a preventative measure, I had to glue it, to make sure it would not come out In my sensors, I found that it liked the 33 full resistance range and 256 ohm empty resistance range. The meter looks good and is well made.
A standard screw terminal hook up does not have a plug harness*. Pictures and descriptions do not indicate that.
This sender is a replacement for the old one to make the gauge and sender the same manufacturer. This is a repeat of what you read before. I believe it is the sending unit that is stuck to A new boat with a 70 gallon tank has just been delivered. After 3/4 of the way through the reading, the reading stops.
