They were a perfect fit for my 1996 Miata. I'm not sure if it will fit a 1999 Mazda Miata.
Unfortunately, they are not available in red, but they are available in grey.
This wire set appears to be compatible with Mazda Miata 90-series vehicles. 97 and 99 percent of the time 2000 cars

The coil ends do not stay connected, and the connector ends are not copper or brass (just some kind of plated metal). If they're all like this, I'd advise against buying them because the ones I have are useless. NGK claims that Amazon is not an approved distributor after speaking with them. As a result, do not purchase these from Amazon, as the NGK lifetime warranty will be voided. EDIT: br>br> These are NOT NGK's plug wires, according to NGK. Theirs are made entirely in Japan and not in China. This is a fake!.
I love Amazon, but I'd go elsewhere to get your NGK wires. I had a lot of trouble getting the coilpack ends to fit on my Miata. It needs to be easy. NGK claims that they don't sell through Amazon and that the wires are most likely factory seconds or counterfeit. So I ordered a new set from a reputable parts distributor, and they fit perfectly the first time; if you have to "mod" your wires to fit by fiddling with the jacket or boot, something is wrong. Be careful who you buy from.
NGK does not sell its products through Amazon. These are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. So I have one of those sets where one wire doesn't feel/detent/hear the wire attaching to the plug clicking. My engine stutters on three cylinders as the wire vibrates and pulls away from the plug. I read Amazon's product warranty and contacted NGK directly about their wire set warranty; however, they did not respond to my inquiry about the warranty for their product, instead referring me back to Amazon, who then directed me to NGK. I am irritated. I'm well aware that NGK produces excellent goods. These aren't genuine.
These NGK wires were a perfect fit for my 1996 Mazda Miata. They're numbered for each cylinder so they can be matched to the ignition coil numbers, and they're basically made to the exact length needed to reach each cylinder so there aren't any loose plug wires along the top of the head, as mentioned in another review. My old girl now runs great thanks to a new AC/Delco ignition coil and NGK Iridium plugs, and the blue wire color gives the engine compartment a unique, clean look.
Amazon Services LLC sold it to me for my 1999 Miata. The length of two of the wires was excessive. None of the spark plug ends are connected to the plugs in the same way that the OEM ones are. Due to the excessive length of the wires, two of the distributor ends kept pushing off. This is not the real deal. Or, at the very least, mine did not.
On my son's Miata, I fixed the misfire problem. Plus, they're stylish!.
I've purchased these a number of times. Installed in a 1991 Mazda Miata. The coil pack's ends refused to seat. Even after making the necessary adjustments. They're still in the car the next day. I see that two of them have pushed their way out of the coil. I can only put it down to shoddy workmanship. After six sets this year, I'm disappointed.
Miata plug wires are standard issue and fit and function perfectly. These are the wires you'll need unless you're running a lot of boost or doing something crazy. Do you have any idea when yours were last changed? Simply purchase a new set and replace the old ones. The ones that arrived with my pre-order Loved 1990 appeared to be in good condition on the surface, but the three plug tops/wires were separated from the conductor (Not Good). She runs much, much better now that she has a new set of NGK plugs and wires!.
