As advertised, this is not a custom fit

According to the product's marketing material, it is designed to fit under the exhaust manifolds as if it were the original equipment. It appears that the wiring from cylinders one and two has been disconnected after installation on my 1970 Corvette In the following examples, 3 and 2 are used It was too long for four of them. Four wires were over 4 inches in length. The other three wires were over 3 inches. Following a number of discussions with Petronix technical department, it has been told that this has been the way it has been sold for years and that I should return it for a credit and find.
