It's designed to fit a bulb that's 7 inches in diameter. It was slightly altered by me. You're free to return it at any time.
It is designed to fit a 1985 Chevrolet P30 step van. I'm down to my last few options. It's possible that your chevy will benefit from this.
No, the headlights on your 1966 Ford Fairlane are smaller.

This ring was made of a less expensive material than the others I ordered, but it was the only one with the proper position brackets. I bent the ones that weren't needed and they came off a little too easily. Because the diameter is slightly smaller than the headlights, they don't quite fit. The brackets had to be bent back a little to reach the holes in the body, but they still worked fine. Because this item is becoming increasingly difficult to come by, I'm going to order two more just in case one breaks.
They were installed on my 2006 Jeep TJ - I was able to elongate/slot two of the holes that didn't line up. It's not the end of the world, but it's an annoyance for something that was supposed to fit my car. I turned a five-minute job into a half-hour job. However, the real issue is that the round cosmetic ring (not the area where I extended the slot) rusted almost immediately. I took them out after only two months. a rusted and corroded shambles I live in Connecticut, and I know we had a harsh winter, but this was in the months of February and April. We had already passed through the worst of the winter. If you're going to install them, make sure to paint them first. Why should you have to when they're supposed to be corrosion-resistant? BUYING IS A MISTAKE - garbage.
Made for a low price. Tin at a low price. The tabs are not in the correct order. I purchased the advertised item for my vehicle. Remove them from the equation.
My headlamp mounting requirements were not met with this product. Despite all of the tabs, it is not a universal fit.
I couldn't get it to fit over the headlamp, much less secure it to the housing. The diameter is about an eighth of an inch too small.
You can't go wrong with them. The only drawback to them being so universal is that the extra tabs that aren't used don't give off a clean, sharp look, if that's important to you.
To make these fit, I had to drill holes in my headlight mount; I'm thinking of using a dremel to add the turn lock type holes.
