It fits strangely (cap shrunk after being molded and is malformed after mounting) and the screws in the kit are not appropriate

It was purchased to equip a GMT400 5 with a distributor cap. The V8 engine is 7 cylinders. The first one broke while installing it, turns out it was too small to fit over the distributor plate and snapped off the screw hole as a result. It seems that the second attempt worked. I will have to dry and warm the cap before it's worn in. The pros are The price of brass contacts is a con There is 1/8 of an inch of space between the cap and the hole in the distributor screw. This can only be attributed to a shrinking during the cooling process. It heated up and stretched onto the distributor once I warmed it up. We'll have to see if we can get it back on. As well, the screws that come with this cap are of the wrong thread pitch. You should discard those, and use the originals instead.

Not something that would work. I liked the brass contacts, but found them out of round (see fig. In the early morning and early evening This photo shows 00), and the flat side was crooked. This seal could not be pushed over the lip of the distributor and was too rigid to be forced. I was able to return my item quickly and receive a refund.
