It costs about $90 - $120 to buy a stock gas cap for a honda shadow One hundred dollars. You will pay $15 for this. It is unlikely that you will receive peak The computer does the job fine and when it fails, this is the time to replace it. Two months and four fill ups later that I put the gas tank on my bike, I have had no problems with it. Having paid for itself, it has been worth it. Although it may be tedious to remove the protective blue film unless you're a toddler, it isn't at all hard to remove. Every day, I ride my bike 8 miles each way to work and it sits in the weather while the gas cap seals well against the weather at work. If you expect high-end quality, don't expect it. But it does the job, no.
It is a great product at an excellent price, and their customer service is superb. For better performance, you may want to spray WD40. Before inserting into the tank, make sure this is in good shape. In order to turn the rubber, you must push it and then remove it. This is a book I highly recommend.
We were looking for a locking gas cap, and this one fit right in. There is only one thing I would mention, which is that there is a blue see-through protector on the cap, which we are still unable to fully remove. We would have liked to have been able to peel the mask off without difficulty.
Having used it in real life has been a great experience. You won't be able to tell the difference. It fits well.
Once the key turned, it got stuck while trying to move the flanges. After trying to fix it for at least 20 minutes, I gave up and returned it to the store. As the OEM cap is $80, I would like it to work.
This did not fit. I did not like it.
It fits and looks as if it were made by the manufacturer.
My 2003 Honda Shadow 750, which I am restoring, is the perfect fit for this muffler. Despite some minor glitches, everything went smoothly. Any owner of the cycle I just referenced would be well advised to get this.
