For my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, I installed amber Hella 450 fog lights in place of the factory fog lights. There is a concern that the bottom of those bumpers are exposed to more road debris because they hang low. I bought these covers even though the lenses are glass, as I wouldn't want to risk scratching or cracking them. There is some space between them, so the clear rubbery nubs prevent the plastic from touching the glass lens. They fit over the lights snugly, and the clear rubber keeps the plastic from touching the glass lenses. This is necessary due to the fact that those lights do generate a bit of It is probably not a good idea to use lights while stationary with these covers in place, probably due to the risk of melting. While parked with the lights on for up to 20 minutes at a time in cold weather (below freezing), I haven't noticed any issues, but your results may differ.
