The engine in my vanagon is an air cooled 1982. is the number I remember, I am pretty sure 03010 will work. There is probably a different distributor on water boxer engines.

This seller came up after I searched high and low. Although order arrived within a reasonable time frame, the product did not meet its description. I purchased an item from the site which stated it was an OEM, would fit the model, but it did not fit. Upon realizing this, I tried to get a refund and would receive only 1/9th of the original price. The product was not worth the money.

There is no comparison for fit and quality between Bosch original style and any other. The clear one on my bug car broke in half when I tried using it. I was disappointed in the thinness of the material used. Compared to the Bosch, the Bosch is.

Were out in no time

These rotors wore out about the same time as the Bosch 04012 rotor that I bought. I had only to replace one contact before it fell out of the rotor. From the first installation, the center of the spring loaded contact fell out. There is just a difference in build quality between now and before. However, it was a perfect fit for the Bosch 009 distributor.

It's Time for the Volvo 240 to Start Again! I replaced the distributor cap in our '92 Volvo 240 after the engine would not start Checking it out, the old cap was in fact original, and there was a good amount of condensation on the underside The inner side of the cap reads This resulted in contact contacts on copper oxidizing

The car began to turn over immediately after installing the new distributor cap, and it has not had any problems since then. Using Bosch parts for old Volvos is a recommendation I strongly endorse!.
