That's a really nice As far as my Chevy C20 is concerned, I still use the original breaker points

As soon as my pickup truck began to run poorly, I removed the old cap and discovered that the interior contacts were corroded. A different material appears to be used for the contacts in this cap. It's possible that brass or copper is used. It's either that or I won't encounter any issues similar to that.

For GM V8s fitted with breaker points ignition this is the best cap

A cap designed specifically for GM V8 engines with breaker points is available here. The AC Delco cap shown here shines better than the other one, and so looks better. However, it works just as well as the other one. It is a collector car, so since my 1968 DeVille Convertible is a classic, I chose it. I received one with a few chips off of some of the towers, but Amazon quickly sent.

Does not require a great deal of mechanical skill. It is a great product. It installs almost the same as In my experience, these items last about three years at most. I've owned the truck since 1980, and I change the cap and rotor about every three years Whether it needs it or not, it will last 4 years.
