The parts I've received so far have been of great quality and there have been no defects observed. My connectors have not been tested under water, nor have they been exposed to oil or chemicals. However, I am using them in a woodworking CNC router, and so far, they have performed well.
This is what I use to connect my battery to my fish finder on my kayak. I fish in salt water where the shoes are waterproof, which is extremely important. I am very pleased with this product.
