They are good connectors, but they are a pain to use

As a result, one of the male wires was loose in the connector, causing it to come out as I connected them. There's nothing you can't test by pulling on the pin connector wires. If it pops out, look for the little tang at the base that locks it into place. You might need to push it out more to make sure it has come out all the way. In any case, it's not a big deal, but if you are working in a tight space, it would be better to check the connectors before you connect your wiring to them.

They work just fine, just add a bit of wire

I needed one of these to connect the license plate lights to the aftermarket spare carrier's center plate mount on There were 5 packs of these and I thought I may as well get them, since I will need one to run the rear window pop-up LED mod and maybe others down the road. I just need wire since they only have about 4 ft. About five inches tall.

16ga is not a rifle caliber. 16 gauge does not even come close. Look elsewhere if you want it to handle anything more than a few watts.

Despite the fact that the product appears to be well-made, I'm concerned about the voltage drop caused by the smaller wire. It should be 16 AWG, but it is more like 20 AWG. This error should be corrected by the seller.

Those quick disconnects are nice and watertight

There seems to be no water leakage or at least no damage caused by humidity or rain. I used them to connect my foglights. A tight seal is provided by the rubber.
