i don't know. might be just extra in case one gets torn or dropped

According to the reviews and considering that both the turbo and the pedestal mount have 4 O rings combined is it fair to assume that the o rings are being doubled up?

You need Fit 7 to work out. The turbo pedestal has three turbos. "Thicker" seems to be the word I would use to describe them.
