It should work if the turbo and pedestal on a 99 are the same as those on a 2002. There were no issues I encountered when using it on an 02 computer.
The O rings located under the turbo are not beneath the A pair of rings seals the intake manifold oil passages between the turbo pedestal and the turbo. In addition to these two rings, there are also two others that seal the oil passageways

I bought them to mount them on my turbo pedestal while I was doing the injectors, cups, and turbo build. So far, we have not encountered any issues with the 35,000 since work began.
