The answer is yes. I have built two Ford 2s. V6 and 4 are 9 and 4 respectively. The crankshaft rear cap and the seal at the top of the crank are identical, so there can't be any problems! You can plug it in and play! No fuss, no worries!
An installation sleeve is included with this item so that no additional tools are required

I love the fit of the 9l. The plastic installation ring was a great touch. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. In comparison to the original installation, the trans and pressure plate were easily removed along with the clutch and flywheel.
seals worked great, as they come with a guide that makes it easy for them to slip over the crank.
I had no problems with my 1984 Bronco 2 and V6 and 8 have been replaced. In terms of how it works, the plastic install seal works well it keeps the seal's inner lip in its correct position during installation. This will cost me a few more bucks, but it will give me peace of mind knowing that it will be installed correctly once my Tranny has been reinstalled.

Thanks to the included plastic guide, it was easy and simple to install this product by part number. The Rear Main Seal was of excellent quality and very easy to install. So far, the seal has not leaked. Recommend Fel Pro seals due to their quality.
I would like to include this part. Appearance is that he is holding on. I should not have had to pay extra for this part because it should be part of the clutch kit I purchased.
One of the other gasket packages came with a new seal, so I did not need it.
