It was either mahale or felpro, and I had to use silicone sealer to make sure it was sealed

According to the GM guide, the engine is 8 cylinders. The only place that claims it fits the 07 Impala LS 3 is on Amazon. Does my car have 5 numbers that don't match?

Is there a need for RTV beading on this seal?

There is a 1/4" round bead of RTV sealant at the CORNER of the front and rear covers of the oil pan gaskets of the LS Gen 3 engines. Around the entire gasket, there is no need for beading.

This 2002 Tahoe 5 can be found in California

A perfect fit could not be found for this gasket. You have to take a piece of aluminum and mold it with a silicone gasket. My 2002 Tahoe 5 fits well. This 3 is a perfect replica of the original and sealed as well as or better than the original. I think that you are getting a good price.
