Then again, maybe
To measure your base shaft, you'll need to take a measurement. In my case, I found myself in a unique situation because most of the parts I needed are not usually found on web sites. In the shaft of a Triumph Differential, I found a groove that had worn into it. The shaft had a groove, so Mic'ed it and purchased this to cover it. I like how it fits up well and it comes with a drive sleeve, as long as you don't have a shaft that's too long. To use the sleeve effectively, you must know what diameter the shaft you are trying to repair is, and verify it will fit on it.

Having that old felt seal running for years took it's toll on the shafting, smeared a little bit of high-temperature grease onto the shafting A thick layer of epoxy was applied to the bad portion and a sleeve was hammered As a side note, I had to use a scrap piece of tubing to hammer it on, because the little cap that comes with it is practically It's good to know that my fancy double lip neoprene seal is really snug on the shaft now. I guess we will see how long it lasts, however.
