What does this look like on a turbocharged 2008 Mini Cooper S? What information in the product description and the product information contradicts each other?

It was fitted to the non-turbo R56/W N12 Base Mini Cooper in 2007. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you. My son's only car is a Mini, and this is the only one I'm familiar with. The kit performed admirably, and there has been no evidence of leakage.

Would this work for the mini cooper (2008) model's base pump? What's up with the 6-volt battery? (non-dohc) speed dohc (non-dohc) speed ?

That is an excellent suggestion. It worked fine for me. Simply make sure that you are compatible.

A new vacuum pump is much less expensive than "O" Rings

Despite the fact that it was supposed to arrive on Friday, the product arrived on Wednesday instead. The "O" ring set works perfectly, and because Mini does not offer replacements, it will save you a lot of money over buying a new one. The replacement of the "O"Rings is a simple procedure, and the entire rebuild and installation takes less than 30 minutes. During the rebuild, it was discovered that the vacuum pump's rotor housing had a significant leak, and this kit contains all of the necessary gaskets to repair it.

My mini cooper's oil leak has been bothering me for a long time. I'm relieved that I discovered this and that I don't have to worry about it anymore. As a result, if your Mini Cooper's front end is leaking oil, the vacuum must be replaced.

If you only require replacement seals, this is the best option

If a leak is only minor, buying the Pierburg unit in parts is a better option than buying the entire unit. It is highly recommended that you consider this. If the inner seal is in need of replacement and has a lot of scoring or tearing. It's time to get a new pump.

It is preferable to repair the vac pump rather than purchase a new one in order to solve leaks

If the O- If your pump's ring is leaking, instead of buying a new pump, you can replace it with this option. I can also adjust the air vents in my cabin to bring in fresh air without the smell of oil.

Because RKX seals are not available from the dealer, we must rely on seal kits. Our orings are perfectly sized, and we've never had an oring-related leak return. While I believe they are pricey for what you get, it is better than spending $200 or more a year on a new vacuum pump. At $500, this is a fantastic deal.

Oil doesn't leak into the intake system because of this

The Mini turbo engine's well-known tendency to leak oil through its vacuum pump was eliminated with this simple fix. It took about 45 minutes for me to replace the oil seals. I haven't had any problems since then.

Even at a speed of less than 5 mph, my car was braking hard at idle

When less than 5 mph was being driven and hard brakes were occurring at idle, a random code of unmetered air (lean bank 1) appeared. It was well worth the $30 to remove and replace all of the orings; the codes have vanished, and the brakes are back to normal!.
