It is possible that OEM clips will not fit into these new holes. I ordered these to be used on a 2006 Ford Taurus while it was undergoing a fuel pump replacement I planned ahead for the extra clips I would need in order to complete the filter replacement job. I continue to be baffled about the decision to use this clipping aka "quick disconnect" system, as it is absolutely appalling and unacceptable, so much so that whoever at Ford is responsible for it has to be held accountable. These quite fragile and cumbersome clamps are not the only way to clamp the fuel line connections. There are numerous, far more reliable methods. With respect to these Dorman replacements, those that did not break under the slightest amount of pressure trying to put them in where they belong, fitted or they did not. The reason they do not fit is that the clips are thicker than the original ones. It is, however, necessary to have these unless you are prepared to completely overhaul your system. You need to re-do the hose connections completely.
In the end, I found one review that confirmed it to be true after reading a lot of reviews. Those were the ones I bought. Yes, that is correct! The fuel hose for the JK fits these. According to Mopar, the harness is the only thing they sell. The clips can solve this problem, but you need to buy them. The only thing left to do is to clean my garage of the smell of gas.
This product provided great results when I replaced the rear fuel evacuation canister on my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer EXT. In order to mount the front canister, Dorman offers a smaller one. Having these is an absolute must if you plan to work on your Fuel/Emission system - they are much cheaper than anything you can find at any auto store.
The plastic clip I was using to connect the fuel filter to my ten-year-old 2003 Ford Taurus broke when I was replacing it. Here's what I said Originally, I rigged a temporary clip, but later searched Amazon for a better one. I received these clips one week later, and they matched the broken one and were the same. The line is now locked in place, so I don't have to worry about it coming loose, spilling fuel, or exploding. Three of the clips were white and three black were in the package. It seemed like they were identical, except that they were different colors.
As a result of other reviews, I bought these Ford Taurus fuel filters as a preventive measure. I was exactly right about the other reviews, and these were just what I needed. I have a 2002 Taurus and this was perfect for me.

A set of three clips is included in this package. On my Ford Taurus 2004 I used one of the narrow black pairs to secure the fuel filter. The clips were just as I had envisioned, and they fitted in the fastener holes without any alterations.
