Questions & Answers

Is it possible to connect one of the outlet ports of the regulator to a fuel return line with a smaller diameter fuel line?

There is no other purpose for this. It would be helpful if you had a by-line For that, you need a pass regulator.

Is there a reason they can't ship the fuel pressure regulator to California?

It would be necessary to inquire with them, but given California's emission restrictions, I would assume this is considered

Are dual carbs compatible with this system?

Can this be used to restore a 383 chevy with a 650 Edelbrock equipped with a 15 psi stock ?

It is true. F. of any kind. This is what R will do. However, you may have to purchase new fuel hose fittings, depending on the size of the fuel hose on

Worked like a charm
5/5

In my car, there is a fuel pump equipped with an electric motor. It weighs 10 pounds. There was a lot of pressure that was overpowering the needle and carburetor seats. A Holley fuel pressure regulator is easy to install and adjust. When you get the regulator out of the box, the pressure is around 35 psi. The weight is 7 pounds. After I adjusted to 5 1/2 pounds, I weighed 56. 5 pounds. I don't have any problems with that. I am extremely happy with the performance of my car. We plan to dress up the fuel lines with AN fittings and braided hoses later on.

I do not have anything negative to say about the price
4/5

Since I have only had this installed for a few days, it seems to be working well. There are two mounting holes, one on either side of the input port, on the bottom of the regulator. According to previous reviews, these are not threaded. Before purchasing and installing mine, I read these reviews and made sure the holes on my regulator were as close as possible, held the regulator in the palm of my left hand, and carefully used the included screws to Screws have a much harder surface than metals found in valve regulators, so installing them worked just fine. My time to do this was just over a minute. Additionally, I had purchased the brass fittings (3/8" NPT) ahead of time, which made this installation a lot easier. Just to be safe, I checked the four screws securing the diaphragm on top of the top plate for tightness as well as the fittings. All of these screws appeared to be tight. Once again, to confirm previous reviews, the included screws may limit the ability to mount the bracket correctly, depending on how you intend to use it. My initial reading on the pressure gauge I also installed at this time on the second output port of the regulator was reading about 7 psi. I simply used some screws with smaller heads, and it worked just fine. Adjustment was quick and easy and seemed fairly sensitive. The pressure reduction was very easy when I loosened the lock nut on the adjustment screw and it only took a quarter turn to get it A spline pressure of 5 psi is optimum In testing the system about an hour after installation, no leaks or fluctuations in pressure were observed. As time passes, we shall see how it holds up.

Worked like a charm. Some people believe the mounting holes are not threaded, but in reality, Their surfaces are plated with a thin layer of metal. You just have to press the screws into the thread to get them to thread.

As a manufacturer of top-quality parts, Holley can always be relied upon
5/5

In the past couple of weeks, I have been working on automatics. I have worked in the industry for more than 40 years. The one thing I've always found to be true is that if it says Holley on the box, you've got the best. Every time I buy cheap foreign made parts, I end up returning them or throwing them out. I purchased this fuel regulator to replace a cheap knockoff that leaked after only 2 days of driving. It is perfect and works flawlessly. Having gas poured on a hot engine isn't worth a little more money, but knowing that it won't burn is very important to me. Therefore, you should consider getting a Holley and save yourself the time, trouble and maybe even your life.

I am reviewing
3/5

It would have been wise to listen to reviews, the holes for the bracket are not threaded, and there is not one word on how to install it, although I read one review and they said to use the screws provided, but they are too small and fall out. Next day I will go find the correct size. I really hope that this does not leak and will hold pressure since we are going to drive 2000 miles in a month.

The program works, but it is difficult to install
3/5

There was some debris inside the holes/threads that hold the regulator to the bracket, so I had to tap the holes/threads clear. I recovered the regulator with a new hose. My first assumption was that there was nothing there until I realized there was some crusty white substance beneath it. This may be the result of manufacturing processes. Upon applying pressure for the first time, I realized I had to adjust the pressure as it was too Despite the nut securing the adjustment screw being extremely tight, the screw was still turning freely. It didn't feel like it would come off unless I removed the screws from its mounting point in the inner fender. It took some work, but eventually I was able to remove it and make the necessary adjustments.

I don't know
3/5

If it were up to me, I would suggest looking somewhere else, but pending what you are running, there aren't many other options. As a result, this regulator failed to maintain the set psi on my q jet (it's a monster, hundreds of cfm) at idle, as well as a steady volume when the throttle was opened, and cannot maintain the carb bowls. I also blame my fuel pump in this setup because it was too high at 12 psi and too low in I think I can still regulate an idle pressure that is consistent.

Having the taps for the mounting holes is necessary for running a carb, but this was missing from my order
5/5

It was the seller's fault, but he rectified To keep the pressure regulated on my new Edlebrock carb, everyone recommended I install this part. However, I did not expect it to be so poorly checked since it is a Holley part. I agree, but also the seller sent a new one and was awesome to deal with- As a result, the seller "After Market Everything" did an incredible job of fixing the problem without any of their fault.
