The goal of this is not specifically a code fix, but for the system to reach full pressure and have more power during heavy throttleing. It is usually set when the fuel pressure sensor is detecting low fuel pressure and indicates this with the code P0087. It would be wise to buy this plug anyway, change out your filter(s), and then reinstall Test the code by setting it and seeing if it works again. When it returns, take it to a store that has a good quality code reader to read the code. I wish you the best of
Currently I have a HUGE leak in the fuel line after installing mine. In the end, I replaced the stock one with the stock one, and the leak disappeared.

Yes, it should be able to fit 2007 since all other brands indicate the same. Yesterday, I put one in my 2012.

They fixed that problem at a very reasonable price. As it turned out to be the fuel pressure relief valve (end of fuel rail driver side fire wall), this was a much better solution than having to spend two big bucks on the OEM replacement. Using a vise and some heat, we were able to remove it easily. You do not want to leave threads behind if you do not be careful about this problem. I did not experience this problem in my case, even though a dirty filter and collapsed hoses may have caused this issue. I think that most of the time it won't.
However, a couple of weeks in, and it fitted right in, it did not leak, and my "safe mode" no longer engages. I've noticed that my truck is now more smooth. Thanks for your kind words.
The bolt has a head with an O- There are rings. I was satisfied with the fit, with the exception of the scratched metal circle can it came in. Other than that, there are no bugs in the threads, and the new edition is excellent There is a ring included, and it is easily interchangeable. I purchased it due to the P0101 and P0087 codes on it. My truck doesn't limit power when the check engine light comes on, so I was planning to replace the plug anyways, but now the P0087 code comes up only when the check engine light comes on. I used to think it was like it went into a derate mode before they came on.
The best way to handle it is to follow the steps right so you won't run into any problems. have your unit recalibrated so that it will maintain pressure at the levels you like. You need to do that if you want the best results!.

I was very satisfied with the results! As far as metal plugs are concerned, they are metal plugs. It would be my first choice to buy again.
The ring is too fragile to last. approximately 3000 miles I have no leak and my rail pressure is exactly what it should be so no pressure spikes are present and the truck runs like it ought to. Fixed my p0087 error as I noticed the factory relief wouldn't fit right after the increase in power and mileage. Up until recently, I could build no more than 12k rails.
Beware of this Chinese copycat tuner race plug, which is made in the same way as the PPE and Durmaxmax ones. These knock off parts will leak on you if you buy them.
