To replace the blue elbow at the end of the hose, I had to have an inverted fitting welded to it, as it will not work with older fuel pumps. Here is a troubleshooting guide I used on an old 1968 Chevy truck, I hope it helps.
You will need 3/8" pipe fittings if your pump and carb have them. If not, you may have to purchase other fittings

Neither the fitting to the fuel pump nor the fuel pump will function. In order to make it work, I had to have a fitting made and spent about 20 dollars more. If you have an old mechanical fuel pump, you should not buy this. In the item, it stipulates that it is 3/8. Not in a million years.
There is a difference between the advertised two feet and actual two feet. The straight line span between one end and the other, including the elbow adapter, is about 22 feet. This is a 5 inch piece. You will not be able to get 24 inches if you need it. Aside from that, quality seems to be.
I have found the perfect match.
the second time I've done this with my Chevy engine. The first time, the hose developed a small leak after ten years.
Clean, tidy look when done but you were required to buy $20 worth of adapters in order to work with a stock Chevy 350 mechanical fuel pump.
This works like a charm.
The product was of good quality and had.
