On my Camry with a 6-cylinder FE engine, I had to do the dreaded spark plug change. 2 GR- cylinder At nearly 120,000 miles, the FE engine is still going strong. br>br>I agree with the other reviewer who stated that the coolant lines from the throttle body do not need to be removed before the throttle body can be unbolted. After it's been unbolted, simply move it to the side; the coolant lines are plenty long. Yes, getting to the rear cylinder bank is a pain because so much has to be removed before you can get to them. The intake manifold surge chamber, which sits on top of the intake runners, is one of those items, and these gaskets are used to replace the gaskets between the chamber and the intake runners, as they are a non-replaceable item. Toyota's service manual describes it as a reusable item. They appear to be of high quality and fit exactly like the OEM ones. br>br>As a side note, the throttle body gasket is also required for the spark plug change.
High-quality product from Japan. Exactly the same as OEM. For spark plug replacement on a 2009 Toyota Sienna Van, this product is of exceptional quality and fits perfectly. I also recommend getting the throttle body round gasket and replacing it along with the throttle body cleaning. You can also avoid dealing with the mess by leaving the coolant lines connected to the TB.
Toyota's gaskets are now orange, but they still work. They're meant for 2GR- They've been in place for about 6 months and haven't caused any problems.
It's a well-made, excellent product that comes highly recommended. br>While I was at it, I changed the spark plugs and the intake manifold gasket in my 2012 Toyota Highlander. The gasket is very well made and fits perfectly like OEM.
Upper plenum (no. 5) Fits. These were exact replicas of the originals. There isn't much else to say about them except that they were less expensive than the local parts store and that they worked flawlessly. Orhers would benefit from it.
There are no leaks or issues. They were shipped quickly, arrived quickly, and functioned as expected. I have no complaints; they've been on my entire eight Lexus RX 350 for months and it still drives like new.
You can save a lot of money by doing it yourself if you have a 5 or 6 cylinder engine.
I haven't installed it yet, so I can't comment on it. However, it appears to be in good condition.
