Plenum gasket for a 2003 Land Rover Disco 2

This past weekend, I completed the installation. br>Is the gasket made of metal and coated with a carbon-like film? br>Other brands have smaller guide pin holes that must be gently tapped into place. br>This one went on without a hitch. br>If you're replacing your plug wires or coil, order this along with it because you'll need it. br>The only way to do either correctly is to remove the intake plenum. You'll spend more time fighting it than removing the plenum. br>.

I only needed the gasket. I've installed a lot of these on Rover engines, and this one had the right size holes for the locating plugs, unlike most other gaskets. However, I gave it four stars because it arrived bent up pretty badly, but I was able to tap it down as flat as possible and give it a try, and it seems to be working fine so far. However, it would have been preferable if it had arrived in a flat state. It was against a cardboard in plastic, then came in a separate box, and it was still bent after all of that.

I've never seen a better gasket, and I almost fell in love with it, but my wife caught me staring at it, and that was the end of it. I installed it in my Lady Rebeca, a 2004 Land Rover Discovery, and she adored it.
P. Inanimate objects pique my interest. LOL.

I've ordered several of these, so what can you say about a plenum gasket other than it works, it's well packaged, and it arrives quickly? This one qualifies for all three.
