The strainers and gaskets needed to rebuild the fuel injectors can be found here. Unless the seals on your injector are worn, it should never leak. If the injector fails, it's most likely an internal problem that needs to be addressed. If you own an older BMW, there are websites where you can buy one that has been used by the 6's.

For a 1997 Porsche Boxster, I rebuilt six injectors. The engine began to run, and everything appears to be in working order at this time. I checked for leaks, drove it, and checked it again several times afterward. After the rebuild, make sure to lubricate the grommet and o-ring with a very light coat of lubricant. Check to see if the injector and fuel rail are properly seated. Small details can be the difference between success and failure. Debris must be removed from all components. You can save a lot of money by doing it yourself. During the disassembly, I also flushed each injector with injector clean. The injector is opened by a 9-volt battery and two wires. Clean the injector and make sure it's working and spraying properly.
My college-aged son and I are working on a 1999 Buick Regal. At school, children of a certain age use. The injectors are OEM (possibly old), and the washers, spacers, and injector tips are all visibly worn. At $65 per injector, 6 injectors equals $390 in injector replacement. I used a multimeter to check the injectors for continuity. I tested them all with a meter and found that they were all fine, so I rebuilt them with this kit. br>It would have been better if it came with instructions, but there are YouTube videos that will guide you through the process. br>When I was done, I poured a can of fuel system cleaner into the gas tank to clean it even more, and the car now runs much smoother and stronger.
Overall, I was pleased with the kit until I completed my last injector and discovered that I was missing a basket for the injector's bottom. Because they were late with my first order, I decided to repurpose one of my old baskets and reinstall my manifold rather than risk waiting another week for parts. The O- No real difference in power, running, or fuel mileage, but I no longer have fuel spilling on my intake manifold when my engine gets hot, which was the primary reason for purchasing. Before disassembling the kit, double-check that it contains all of the necessary parts.
So I returned it and replaced it with an 8-cylinder kit, paying the difference. I received the same product and brand, but this time with two additional sets of all of the pieces. These will be of the same high quality as the 8-cylinder set.
0 OHV engine with new sparkplugs, wires, ignition coil, and oxygen sensors. It now functions as if it were brand new! I like how they include a spare bucket filter in case one gets ripped.
There were no issues at all. This rebuild kit hasn't caused any misfires in the car, so there's no reason to be concerned.
