There is a kickdown cable bracket for the older vehicles that came with my unit, not sure what part number it is, but you can search on Amazon for that bracket. In that case, I did what I had to do.
The Edelbrock 1405, which I used this on, has this configuration. There were a few places where I needed to file it On the plus side, the material wasn't too hard, so it was easy to handle

Excellent finish, quality materials and great price. This requires wider spacing on multi pattern intakes however, it does not clear the throttle linkage on the Performer and AVS series edelbrock carbs however, it may work on the Holley carbs without modification. In order to make it fit you will need to sharpen the inside of the bracket with a grinder and make it about a 32nd inch tall. While this is not a huge problem, it will ruin the show car appearance of this part without heavy polishing work followed by. To conclude, I am glad I got it, but it does need a little For the price, this is still a great product.
The throttle cable can be easily installed and used in conjunction with carburetor spacers to keep the throttle cable aligned. This product corrected this issue, allowing the throttle cable to be adjusted from idle to wide open throttle in order to make the system run as it should. Installation of carburetors or fuel injection systems aftermarket is recommended. It is possible that the two locations will require longer mounting studs.

Using 4150 style carbs is not all you can do! With a little file work around the front of the bracket near the accelerator pump, this bracket fit my Holley 4010 perfectly. With an Edelbrock 1405 (which is nothing like the Holley,) even more file work allowed me to clear the throttle assembly without compromising its integrity. Thanks to the relatively soft nature of the material, it can be easily customized with the right file. The ones they offer at Jeg's and Summit are half the price!.
A very nice bracket, but the pivot bolt that goes through the carburetor can get stuck and cause the throttle to hang open at times. Developed ways to break up the binding or something more fitting would be to say galling in the carburetor rather than drilling it out. Still, it's a nice overall impression.
