When I used this gasket on my gmc envoy xl, I had no issues with it. If it fits your impala, buy it, it is a good gasket you can't go wrong with.

The throttle body on my 2005 Trailblazer was replaced and I ended up purchasing this gasket in case anything went wrong. It's a good thing I did because the throttle body failed to work and the gasket appeared to have carbon on it, as though it could have leaked. These gaskets are often missing from throttle bodies that are being replaced. In my case, reusing a gasket that has probably been on the road for 15 years with more than 200 thousand miles on it was not worth the risk.
