My girlfriend's 2010 CRV had a P009 code, which was fixed by replacing the VTC solenoid. I attempted to clean the original one first, but it returned after a day of driving, causing the timing to be off and the car to run poorly. It ran like new after I replaced the solenoid and reset the CEL. br>br>For those who are unfamiliar, K24s have a timing chain and a VTC that is powered by oil pressure. When it's stuck open, it'll send a signal to advance timing and then throw a P0011 code. Don't worry, this isn't a timed chain that's been stretched. Simply replace the solenoid. br>br>The part includes the rubber o ring shown in the picture, but not the secondary one hidden inside the block.
