This is utter nonsense. I installed the harness despite the fact that it felt like cheap garbage when I first got it. 12 month period DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The harness is identical to the one I replaced, and the wire size and length are also identical, so it's a perfect fit. The so-called extractor tool is flimsy and requires two hands to operate, or it will break and slip. I'm not sure if the heat will make my truck brittle because it isn't my primary vehicle, but the price is right, so I'm happy.

Wiring is excellent, and the tool is well-made, but it is lacking in functionality

They functioned flawlessly. Compare the one you're removing and the one you're installing; they're not the same. Because the top of the individual harness is recessed in the head and the tool won't fit in the hole, the included tool isn't worth much. A wire will work much better. You'll understand what I'm talking about once you get the harness.

The package arrived with a 6 inch piece of wire and two butt connectors, despite the fact that there was snow in the forecast. I am not pleased. br>Be sure to read the ad thoroughly so you don't get caught off guard like I did. br>It was a harness extension, not the harness, that I received.
