I'm not sure where they're made, but DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT; I had to replace a couple of them on my Duramax. After a year, I decided to replace the entire set with OEM plugs. The two I installed would not come out, and when I tried to remove one, it broke off. The OEM ones that had been in the truck were a breeze to remove. Whatever these are made of will accumulate carbon and cause a major problem if you attempt to remove them.

These were ordered to replace all eight glow plugs in my 2006 LBZ. I thought they were of good quality when I first received them, but after installing them, I realized they weren't. When I put all eight in and tried them out, my check engine light came on right away. I restarted my computer after clearing the codes on my edge cts monitor. It said all 8 glow plugs I just installed were bad, so I tried putting some old glow plugs in and it only threw codes for the new glow plugs I just installed. I won't use these glow plugs again because I don't believe they're a high-quality aftermarket component.
The wire nut on the glow plugs is a different size than the oem nut, and it's also two pieces, so as you tighten it down, it breaks in two pieces. I broke one off with my fingers as it wiggled, and when I reached in to see why, it simply disintegrated; I would not buy these again.
BUYING THESE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! I replaced three glow plugs, but after a year, one of them failed again. When attempting to remove it, the outer cover of the glow plug came off, leaving the coil stuck in the hole due to carbon buildup. The other two appear to be on the verge of doing the same thing. All of the other five originals were easy to figure out. This entails a $5,000 repair to remove the Duramax's heads! OEM / AC Delco, on the other hand, is a different story. Believe me when I say it isn't worth it to save a few dollars.
Despite the fact that a glow plug removal kit costs $450. I now have to pay several thousand dollars to have the head removed from the block, and I intend to sue this company for damages!.
Do not buy these if you have a Duramax diesel engine! They may be fine generic plugs, but after two months, two of them went bad, and the rest were throwing resistance codes all over the place. These were professionally installed, and once I replaced them with factory glow plugs, all of my problems disappeared! It ended up costing me twice as much as I anticipated, and I now have eight glow plugs to discard! Even though they appear to be a good deal, I would not recommend them!.
These will not work with a 2006 Duramax because the resistance is incorrect, resulting in a trouble code. Instead, go with OEM Delco.
I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing! Spend your money wisely. I had one bad glow plug before I installed these, and now I have all eight of them. On a Duramax, it will throw codes. On a daily basis, I must clear the codes. You can't enter zero, so you get a one-star rating.
These had an excessive amount of resistance, causing my computer to throw glow plug codes almost immediately after installation. There were no issues when I returned and switched to AC Delco ones.
