Whenever I connect my filter to the threaded connector, there's a leak. I have tightened my grip, but I do not want to break it. Is there anything you can suggest?

You should always keep a spare on hand

We noticed that the water pump in the trailer was not able to build up pressure in the water lines as we unwinterized it this year. There is a myth that the strainer can get clogged sometimes and should be cleaned at least once a year. that the bottom of the original strainer was cracked and was therefore allowing air into the line. Thus, the pressure was not building up as it should have. One of the RVs we bought was from a nearby RV dealer, and a backup unit was decided to be purchased by us. Solidly built and easily assemble, this part is a great buy. Take a look at any of the YouTube videos. Despite this, the pinch clamps do not come with the kit, and I wanted to change these for the standard screw type clamps instead, which are just as effective. If you own an RV made by a different manufacturer, make sure you check the connections as some manufacturers use different types of Unlike most, you will find that ours has a barbed end on one end and a standard female connection on the other. As a spare, this is a great product to have.

During the winter months, our strainer froze up and failed. This is an exact replacement for the failed strainer. There was no antifreeze in that part of the water pipe. I was waiting for it to arrive - it arrived quickly. Thanks to Amazon Prime, I was able to install it easily.

In the first place, I think that Amazon has a great selection of As a replacement for an old strainer that was broken, I found this strainer extra simple to install. The unit is nice and compact. It was difficult to work with the clear filter part downward as shown in the instructions, but I wonder if the clear filter part can be in the upward position as the instructions did not indicate that.
