I purchased this for my 1997 7 and it was a perfect fit. Powerstroke 3 is a powerful engine. The filter had to be unthreaded to catch the threads properly. When it was perfect, I rethreaded the filter. My next purchase when this one wears out will be a new.
It's a 3. Built decently, the product is a decent product. I have a 1997 Seven and it fits perfectly. An engine with three powerstrokes. To properly seat the filter in the lid you should hold the lid in one hand, then push and twist the bottom with your other hand. The filter I received wasn't fully seated. Because of this, the filter appeared too tall and out of There was a problem with the way the filter was screwed into the bowl. It was very easy to insert the filter once the unit was pushed back together.
It's as expected, Wix changes the cap, but I consider it to be a better design, and it works great so make sure you clean behind the filter housing if fitted with a pre-screen.
This is an easy to install software. This year we will be purchasing additional filters for our maintenance service.
It is the best fuel filter I have ever used. This book is well worth the price.
Obviously, this is the only solution. I change my mine every 5k with Wix.
Some of the best filters can be found on Wix.
I do not have to replace it as often as some others do because it works so well. Wix is the way to go.
